As tens of thousands of Kenyan households turn to groundwater for independence, a frustrating trend is taking over kitchen taps across the country: the borehole works perfectly, but the water tastes terrible. According to the Kenya Demographic and Health Survey, over 10 per cent of rural househ...

The three-judge bench of the High Court’s Constitutional and Human Rights Division declared the transaction unconstitutional, null and void and ordered the shares restored to the Government of Kenya on behalf of Kenyans. The court also quashed approvals and arrangements connected to the transaction.  Kalonzo, who served as lead counsel in the constitutional petition challenging the transaction, said the judgment vindicated concerns raised over the manner in which the sale was conducted. “The people have won.
